David Hunter is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and strategic roles across various companies. Since November 2021, David has served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Hunter 23 Technologies. Prior to this, David held multiple senior positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from March 2015 to November 2021, including Vice President & Chief Strategist at Hewlett Packard Labs and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Strategy in Software Defined Datacenter. David's tenure at VMware from November 2004 to March 2015 included roles such as Chief Architect for the Software Defined Data Center Division and Chief Technology Officer for Platform Security Engineering. David's early career features significant positions at the US Navy, Home Business Magazine, SQU Systems, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation. David's educational background includes training at the Joint Forces Staff College and the U.S. Naval War College, alongside studies at Northeastern University.
