Karen Joy Castillo is a dedicated Clinical Educator at EMSAR, specializing in End-User training and clinical support for cardiac monitoring systems since September 2024. Previously, Karen served as an Account Manager at Tri-anim Health Services, where the focus was on clinical consultative services. Karen's nursing background includes roles as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse and Intensive Care Nurse at Kent Hospital and Miriam Hospital, respectively, providing care to high acuity and critically ill patients. Additional experience encompasses emergency nursing, mental health support, and clinical research, with a strong foundation in military leadership as an Executive Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. Educational qualifications include a degree in Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology from Tufts University and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island.
