Marisa Sapienza currently serves as an IT Project Manager at the NY Hotel Trades Council & Hotel Association of NYC Employee Benefit Funds since July 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Project Manager at openDoctor from July 2020 to April 2023 and as an Administrative Assistant at Rise Counseling INC. in early 2020, where responsibilities included managing patient payments and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Additionally, Marisa interned with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, focusing on fundraising events and data management, and held the position of Vice President of Recruitment for the Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, overseeing recruitment for over 1,000 participants. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Penn State University, complemented by international educational experience through CIEE in 2019.
