Jim Watson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pharmacy benefit management and operations. Currently serving as the VP of Rebate and Network Management at EmpiRx Health since March 2022, Jim has previously held senior roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, and CastiaRx, where responsibilities included leading PBM operations and implementing client benefits. Notably, Jim has a strong background in managing technology-driven solutions, enhancing operational excellence, and driving strategic initiatives within pharmacy networks across multiple organizations such as OptumRx and Catamaran. Holding a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jim's career highlights include leading high-impact projects and delivering innovative solutions that have significantly improved client performance and customer experience.
