Yuejun Han has extensive work experience in various research and laboratory positions. They most recently worked at Empirico Inc. as a Bioinformatics Scientist starting in September 2022. Before that, they worked at UChicago Medicine as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant from December 2021 to August 2022. Yuejun also held the position of Research Associate II at WuXi AppTec from January 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the Key Laboratory of Marine Chemistry Theory & Technology, Ministry of Education from July 2018 to October 2018. Yuejun also gained experience as a Laboratory Research Assistant at the Qingdao Institute of Biomass Energy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from June 2017 to September 2017. They began their career as a research intern at Qingdao Refining And Chemical Co., Ltd in February 2016.

Yuejun Han is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Chicago, starting in 2021. Prior to this, Han completed a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at UC San Diego in 2019.
