Florim Lajqi has an extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Florim started their career as the Director of Capital Projects at The Dermot Company, Inc in February 2006, where they remained until March 2011. Florim then joined The Liberty Blue Group, LLC in April 2011, serving as the Principal and CEO for a period of eight years, until May 2019. In August 2014, Florim became the Principal and CEO of Empire Core Group LLC, a position they currently hold.

Florim Lajqi began their education in 1996 at John Jay College (CUNY), where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Criminal Justice. Florim successfully completed their studies in 2000. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2002, Florim attended The George Washington University, where they focused on International Relations and Affairs. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree during this time.
