Simon Welch is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in directing development teams and projects across various companies. Currently serving as the Vice President of Software Engineering at eMoney Advisor since November 2018, Simon is instrumental in creating market-leading products that assist Financial Advisors in helping clients achieve financial goals. Prior roles include Head of Software Development at Jornaya, where Simon oversaw engineering for key products on AWS, and Director of Engineering at Zonoff, focusing on scalable microservice platforms for IoT connectivity. Simon's career also includes significant contributions at PointRoll, Capital One, and Ellucian, where Simon advanced application modernization and led the development of critical banking and ERP solutions. Educationally, Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Business Studies from the University of Warwick and an MSc in PC Interfacing and Software Applications from the University of Central Lancashire.
