Laura Alexander has worked in a variety of roles in the media industry since 2008. Laura began their career as an Assistant Media Buyer at IBM in 2008. In 2012, they moved to HBO as a Script Writer. In 2016, they took on the role of Creative Director at Emme Films, an independent, award-winning production company. In this role, they have been responsible for all aspects of the design process and business management, overseeing conception, direction, and production of a variety of services from broadcast animation to in-house film production, design collaborations, live video installations/artworks, billboard design, music promos, international artist stage/tour designs, and commercial work. Laura has also been responsible for effective cross-media platform and talent management, mentoring, and client management.

Laura Alexander earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Boston University in 2004. Laura then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from the University of Oxford in 2006.
