Stephen Irecki has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Stephen started their career in 2003 as a Software Developer at Synapse Group Ltd, where they developed various solutions using Java. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at TelstraClear as a Contact Center Applications Consultant, providing pre-sales and consulting services for contact center solutions.
In 2008, Stephen joined Global Cloud Xchange as a Senior Technical Consultant, responsible for the technical design of WAN, Security, Voice, and Contact Centre solutions for multinational corporations. Stephen then moved to Genesys | Interactive Intelligence in 2012, where they held several roles, including Solutions Engineering Team Lead and Head of Solutions Engineering for Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
In 2018, Stephen took on multiple Chief Operations Officer roles at different companies, including eMite Pty Ltd, Snare Solutions, and Prophecy International Pty Ltd. At Prophecy International, they also served as the VP of Global Customer Operations and later became the Director of Global Customer Operations.
Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated experience in managing teams, providing training and mentoring, delivering product demonstrations, and designing architecture for enterprise-grade communications and contact center management services.
Stephen Irecki earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information and Telecommunications from Massey University between 2002 and 2005. Stephen also has several additional certifications, including eMite Certified Engineer (ECE) obtained in 2018, Interaction Dialer Certified Engineer (IDCE) obtained in 2013, Interaction Center Certified Engineer (ICCE) obtained in 2012, Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) obtained in February 2012, Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) obtained in February 2008, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) obtained in February 2007.
