James McNamara is a seasoned technology and consulting professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Consulting at Emids since 2021, James oversees key client deliveries and the development of Integration and Digital as a Service practices. Prior to Emids, James held senior leadership roles at Optum, SE2, LLC, HealthEdge Software, and Public Partnerships, contributing to technology strategy, program management, and product delivery. Notably, James served as Chief Technology Officer at Public Consulting Group, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of software product lines for health services. James holds both an MS in Computer Information Systems and a BS in Computer Science from Boston University, along with a foundational education from St. John's Prep.
