Tom Smith has over 27 years of experience in software engineering, specializing in wireless process control devices and medical analyzers. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions since September 2010, Tom focuses on testing devices using automated scripts. Prior experience includes a role as Software Test Engineer at Development Resource Group for a brief period, and over 13 years at Beckman Coulter as Sr. Software Development Engineer, where responsibilities included software development, testing, and quality assurance for medical devices.
