Greg Avioli is a U.S.-based business executive and lawyer with extensive experience in managing and advising corporations on complex regulatory, financing, real estate, and government affairs. As founding principal of Obsequio LLC, he has advised dozens of cannabis businesses in successfully securing local and state cannabis licenses in California and satisfying ongoing compliance requirements. Greg is acting Chief Legal Officer of Leef Holdings, LLC, a vertically integrated cannabis holding company with manufacturing, distribution and consumer product sectors. He is also a partner in The Leaf at 73740 El Paseo, one of the largest and most prestigious cannabis retail stores in on the West Coast. Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Greg was CEO of the Toronto-based Stronach Group, with $400 million of gaming and real estate assets under management; CEO of the Breeders’ Cup Ltd., which operates the most profitable two days in Thoroughbred horseracing in North America; and General Counsel and founding partner Legacy Ventures which operates $500 million in hotel and restaurant assets in downtown Atlanta.
