Ethan Hynds has had a varied work experience over the years. In 2013, they worked as a Product Engineer at Cleveland Amplification, where they reverse engineered a tube guitar amp circuit, developed schematics, and ordered PCBs. Ethan also built a CNC router from mechanical drawings, MDF panels, stepper motors, and hardware. In 2015, they worked as an IT Manager at Metropolitan Architecture Studio, where they installed, configured, and maintained a self-hosted VOIP server, including a virtual call routing system. Ethan also maintained a Windows Server network of computers, servers, and printers. In the same year, they also worked as a FOH Audio Engineer at Beachland Ballroom & Tavern, where they operated analog/digital mixing consoles to engineer audio (FOH/Monitors) for concerts, analyzed signal paths to troubleshoot and debug audio hardware and sound systems, and used and maintained pro audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, and mixing consoles. In 2016, they worked as a Stagehand at Jacobs Pavillion at Nautica for Live Nation Entertainment. In 2022, they worked as an Application Software Engineer at Emerald Cloud Lab and as a Freelance Web Developer, where they built a web app for an architecture portfolio using React, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS, configured static site generation using NextJS, and setup webhooks to trigger build when content changes, and utilized and customized Sanity Headless CMS for client content management.
Ethan Hynds is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering at Arizona State University, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Recording Arts & Technology from Cuyahoga Community College in 2017. In addition, they hold two certifications: Triplebyte Certified, obtained in May 2022 from Triplebyte, and Dante Level 1: Course & Exam, obtained in January 2017 from Audinate.
