Micha Roon is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at The Hashgraph Association since May 2023, Micha focuses on supporting innovation projects through training and mentorship. As the owner and founder of managination since 2005, Micha has dedicated efforts to enhancing the software development landscape. Previous roles include Head of Web3 Engineering at NOUMENA DIGITAL AG, Chief Technology Officer at bonq, and Chief Innovation Officer at Energy Web, where Micha led technological advancements aimed at creating decentralized infrastructures. Micha has also contributed as a Foundation Board member and CTO at Share&Charge, an advisory board member at the IIB Council, and an advisor at PioneerVentures.io. Earlier positions involved senior roles at Sweetbridge, Inc. and SwissBorg, with a strong educational background in Computer Science from the University of Lausanne and additional training in fintech and project management.
