Leya Lakshmanan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Leya started their career at Tata Consultancy Services in 2001, where they held positions as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager. At TCS, they led testing teams and was responsible for ensuring adherence to business requirements. Leya also worked on IBM MQ platform and cloud architecture. In 2009, Leya ventured into entrepreneurship and independently headed a bakery business, handling marketing, QA, and recipe curation. Leya later worked as a Senior Writer and Editor at Weaving Thoughts - Weaving Enterprises Pvt Ltd in 2016. Leya then joined BankBazaar India as an Online Marketing Team Lead, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head Of Marketing at Embitel Technologies.
Leya Lakshmanan pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Government Engineering College, Thrissur. Additionally, Leya obtained various certifications including "LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in October 2022, "Comparing Agile versus Waterfall Project Management" from LinkedIn in October 2020, "B2B Marketing on LinkedIn" from LinkedIn in May 2020, and "Marketing in a Digital World" from the University of Illinois in August 2018.
