Sabina Assan is currently a Coal Mine Methane Analyst at Ember, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Sabina served as an Evaluation Officer at Sustrans from January 2020 to January 2022, focusing on sustainable and active travel policies in the UK. Sabina's experience also includes working as a Senior Project Coordinator at Association EKO! in 2019, where efforts centered around sustainable and equitable development. Earlier experience includes a doctoral research position at Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement from 2014 to 2017, where Sabina developed methods for characterizing methane sources and improved CRDS instruments for field measurements. Educationally, Sabina holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Université Paris-Saclay and an MS in Physics from the University of Southampton.
