Jacob Mensah is an advisor at Embedded Ventures and a mechanical engineer. Jacob previously worked as a mechanical engineer and design intern at Lyft's self-driving division, where they designed and developed the sensor cleaning system (SCS) for the company's autonomous vehicles. Mensah also has experience in the aerospace industry, having served as airframe team lead and member for the Cornell Rocketry Team, and as a mechanical project engineering intern at Honeybee Robotics.

Jacob Mensah has a Master of Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Jacob has a high school diploma from Lincoln Community School. Jacob also has certification from SMTC Global in Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training with CA-EBS and certification from Honeybee Robotics in Electrostatic Discharge Control ANSI 2020:2014.
