Shincy Maliekkal, MS, PMP, currently serves as Program Director of Project/Program Management at embecta, leading the development of the Closed-loop Insulin Patch Pump System and overseeing clinical trials. Prior experience includes serving as a Program and Project Manager at Horizon, managing a $35M Early-Stage Drug Development Program, and enhancing operational efficiency across a globally dispersed team. From January 2000 to September 2022, Shincy held multiple leadership positions at Baxter International Inc., including Director of Program Management, where oversight was provided for a $50M R&D budget and successful product launches. Earlier roles included engineering and project management positions at Aksys Ltd., emphasizing Shincy's extensive expertise in healthcare product development and innovation. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calicut, along with PMP certification.
