Melinda Pitcher, CPA, currently serves as a Manager at Embark since September 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Consultant. Prior experience includes a role at KPMG as a Senior Audit Associate from September 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities involved leading audits for a hybrid private and public engagement worth over $100 billion in assets, managing multiple smaller engagements, and mentoring junior team members. Earlier roles at KPMG and BKD CPAs & Advisors included internships focused on observing and reviewing accounting and internal control procedures. Melinda has also held leadership positions such as VP Finance at Delta Gamma, overseeing annual budgeting and financial reporting. Educational achievements include a Graduate Degree in Accounting and an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Texas Christian University.
