Julie Swihart is an experienced school psychologist currently working at Elmhurst District 205 Public Schools since June 2015. Previous roles include serving as an intern school psychologist at Addison Trail High School and a school psychology practicum student at Oak Park and River Forest High School. Julie has extensive experience in implementing Response-To-Intervention models, conducting evaluations for students with various exceptionalities, and providing mental health counseling. Additional expertise includes facilitating social skills groups and crisis management. Educational qualifications include an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loras College.
