Dr. Stefan Kraft is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a System Engineer specializing in Modeling and Simulation at Elli, a brand of the Volkswagen Group, since April 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Kraft worked at MAN Energy Solutions as a Research Development Software Engineer from September 2019 to March 2023, focusing on function development, software project management, and simulation model development for both offline and Hardware-in-the-Loop applications. Dr. Kraft's prior experience includes a doctoral position at MAN Energy Solutions from July 2016 to June 2019, where research involved simulating large engines and setting up HiL systems, as well as a role as a Scientific Assistant at FKFS - Forschungsinstitut für Kraftfahrwesen und Fahrzeugmotoren Stuttgart from April 2014 to June 2016, conducting engine and transmission testing. Dr. Kraft holds a Dr.-Ing. from the University of Bremen attained between July 2016 and July 2021 and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, completed in July 2013.
