Christopher Makwindi currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Party and Technical Director at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since June 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing programmatic activities related to HIV and TB prevention, care, and treatment. Christopher provides strategic leadership to the programs team and technical assistance to the Ministry of Health in revising national policies and guidelines. Previous positions include Senior Clinical Advisor and Technical Advisor, with experience at the Swaziland Ministry of Health and Médecins Sans Frontières. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of the Western Cape and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zimbabwe.
