Marko Žagar is an experienced engineer currently serving as a team lead at iOLAP, focusing on integrating various storage instruments with AWS and the Benchling web platform for a biopharmaceutical client. Prior to this role, Marko was a Business Solution Programmer at Euroclear, where responsibilities included data extraction, cleaning, and loading onto Hadoop, as well as implementing data quality controls and maintaining production applications. Marko also gained foundational experience as a Software Engineering Trainee at Icecat, developing web scraping programs using Java, Jsoup, and Selenium. Marko holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Rijeka.
