Alejandro Cano currently serves as Co-Head of Opportunities Funds (Europe) at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. since November 2012, overseeing the Opportunities Funds and Value Opportunities Funds. Additionally, Alejandro holds positions as a Non-Executive Director at Culmia and previously at TOM NAN CLACH WIND FARM and Eolia Renovables. Alejandro is also a Member of the Investment Committee for the Delta project at ELIX. Past experiences include roles as a Board Observer for Hostelworld Group and Securitas Direct Verisure Group, and an Investment Professional at Hellman & Friedman. Alejandro's earlier career includes an Associate position at Goldman Sachs. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and multiple degrees in Engineering and Mathematics from prestigious institutions including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
