Derek McGlashan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, environmental management, and maritime operations. Currently serving as Non-Executive Director at Marine Zero and the Port of Cromarty Firth, along with a Directorship at Saltire Sustainability Ltd, Derek McGlashan focuses on enhancing sustainability and ESG positioning for various organizations. As Vice President of Sustainability for ELIRE Group, responsibilities include overseeing sustainability initiatives in Maritime and Energy sectors. Derek McGlashan also provides consultancy services for Independent Port Consultants and holds a voluntary Directorship at the Forth Estuary Forum. An Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Dundee, Derek McGlashan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geomorphology and Law, a B.Sc. in Geography, and a Master's in Environmental Studies.
