Saffron Bruno has been involved in music from a young age, studying viola and performing in the EYSO during her high school years. She was the violist for the Hanson String Quartet and Maud Powell String Quartet her last two years. She briefly pursued a degree in Viola Performance at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and studied with Liz Freivogel. Returning home to the Fox Valley area during the pandemic, Saffron completed an associate’s degree in Welding Fabrication Technology from Elgin Community College with the idea of pursuing fine art metal sculpting. Saffron is passionate about the arts and music scene and is happy to be a part of the EYSO community again.
