Pei Li has worked in the fashion industry since 2009. In 2009, they were a Graphic Designer for Vesture Group's Sugar kids apparel line. In 2010, they were a Fashion Designer for Tulle Clothing and a Freelance Development Associate for Alternative Apparel. In 2011, they were a Product Development Coordinator for Guess Factory Store. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Textile Associate for Össur. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Freelancer for Pei Pei Sews. Finally, since 2020, they have been a Product Design Engineer for Elevate.

Pei Li obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from California State University, Los Angeles between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Gerber Accumark from Gerber Technology.
