Amaad Dowdell is an experienced health promotion and social services professional, currently serving as a Health Promotion Consultant at Elevance Health since May 2023. Prior roles include Homebuyer Program Manager at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, where Amaad facilitated over 300 families in securing affordable mortgages, and Social Worker both at the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County and Volunteer Behavioral Health, focusing on client assessments and mental health care. Earlier experience includes coordinating programs for at-risk youth and providing support to foster families. Amaad holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern Adventist University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Jacksonville State University.
