Ria Huizenga-Dam has extensive experience in psychology, particularly focused on children and youth. Since June 2009, Ria has worked as a creative therapist at Eleos, specializing in creative group therapy for part-time education and therapy. Ria has also held roles as a child and youth psychologist, conducting intakes and psychodiagnostics, as well as offering various treatment forms such as parental guidance and psychoeducation. Prior experience includes positions as a psychodiagnostic staff member, responsible for neuropsychological, personality, and socio-emotional assessments, as well as skill training. Ria commenced psychotherapy work at Praktijk Frank Odding and was involved in psychological assessments and individual support for autism at PGB Zorg&Bemiddeling. Ria holds a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained in 2006.
