Gary Tsai started their work experience at Tellabs, Inc. in 1995 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and worked there until 2003. From 2004 to 2014, they worked at AgaMatrix, Inc. in the role of Firmware Engineering. In 2015, they joined Elemental Machines as the VP Engineering until 2017, when they became the Principal Engineer at the same company.

Gary Tsai attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
