Siddhanth Shekhar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Siddhanth started their career as a Quality Assurance Intern at RBC in 2014 and continued to work in various intern positions in the banking sector until 2017. In 2016, they also had an Asset Management Internship at METSCO Energy Solutions, where they developed a risk-based intervention strategy for electric system infrastructure.
In 2017, Siddhanth worked as a Quality Control Intern at NeuralSeg, gaining experience in quality assurance. Siddhanth then joined Rabobank Australia & New Zealand as a Customer Experience Associate in 2018.
In 2019, Siddhanth became an Associate at METSCO Energy Solutions, where they implemented a data imputation tool and trained machine learning algorithms to optimize the reporting of electric distribution infrastructure condition.
From 2020 to 2022, Siddhanth worked at Profound Medical Inc. as a Systems Developer, leading the MRI compatibility expansion of the TULSA-PRO system. Siddhanth formulated engineering specifications, verification and validation protocols, and implemented hardware modifications.
In 2022, Siddhanth joined Abbott as an Electrical/MRI Engineer II. Siddhanth led a team in conducting MRI Safety assessments for active implantable medical devices, developed technical knowledge to operate RF amplifier and MRI coil hardware, and addressed roadblocks in design verification activities.
Most recently, Siddhanth is working at Element Science, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer II, starting in 2023.
Siddhanth Shekhar completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Siddhanth has also obtained several certifications. Siddhanth completed courses such as "Python Object-Oriented Programming" and "Introducing the PMBOKĀ® GuideāSeventh Edition" from LinkedIn in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Siddhanth also obtained certifications such as "Project Management Essentials" from Abbott, "The Eight Essential People Skills for Project Management (Blinkist Summary)" from LinkedIn, "Learning Altium" from LinkedIn, and "Project Management: Technical Projects" from LinkedIn in 2022.
