Jason Lachenmyer has worked in the electrical engineering field since 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Professional Trainee 1 (Year-Round Internship, Protection Engineering) at Southern California Edison, where they designed systems in collaboration with hospital, military bases and generation customers, configured settings for over 500 relays within the distribution system, and worked with Senior Engineers, Field Engineers and Test Technicians to optimize designs and install them in the field. In 2014, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at Quanergy, where they researched and tested time-of-flight (TOF) technologies for Solid State LIDAR. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Wavestream as an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, where they managed the Electrical Engineering and PCB Layout Team, and designed power, digital control, and RF bias circuits (Everything <50MHz). Jason also developed peripheral circuits to RF lineup. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Element Science, Inc. and as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman. In 2021, they returned to Element Science, Inc. as a System Engineering Manager.
Jason Lachenmyer received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2014. In 2015, they attended altMBA, a program focused on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems from MIT Professional Education.
