Leo McDermott has worked in a variety of sales roles since 1999. Leo began their career as a Sales Representative for Forte (acquired by Sun Microsystems) from 1999-2000, where they were a quota club performer in 1999, 2001-2003. In 2005, they became the Manager of Channel Sales & Strategic Alliances for AmberPoint, where they initiated and managed all aspects of AmberPoint's strategic reseller and OEM partnerships with Microsoft, SAP, BEA and TIBCO and exceeded quota every year from 2005-2009. From 2010-2015, they worked as a Channel Sales Manager for BlackBerry, where they managed channel sales and strategic alliances with enterprise partners SAP & IBM, and supported BlackBerry, SAP & IBM Sales Teams in selling jointly developed solutions to commercial & government agencies. Leo then worked as a Sales Representative for Appvance.ai from 2018-2020, where they sold AI-driven test generation products, which revolutionized how software testing is performed. Currently, they are an Account Representative for Elemeno Health.
