Sukhvinder Kaur has been working in the field of research and development since 2002. Sukhvinder began their career as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where they explored the fundamental fluid dynamics that influence emulsion microstructure. Sukhvinder then joined The Clorox Company in 2008 as a Senior Scientist, Advanced Technology, where they invented new colloidal technologies and developed Intellectual Property. In this role, they also conducted technical and consumer discovery of innovative products leading to commercialization. Sukhvinder then moved to 10X Genomics as a Senior Scientist in 2014. In 2015, they joined Fluidigm Corporation as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader, developing new microfluidic technologies for single cell analysis and targeted oncology panels. Sukhvinder then worked as an Independent Consultant for Microfluidic technologies for single cell genomics and IVD in 2019, before taking on their current role as Director of R&D at ELEGEN in 2020.
Sukhvinder Kaur obtained a B. Chem. Engg. from the University of Mumbai in 2002. Sukhvinder then pursued a Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara which they completed in 2008.
