Rick Campbell has extensive work experience in the financial and auditing field. Rick is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Electronic Merchant Systems since 2023. Prior to this role, Rick held the position of Corporate Controller at the same company from 2017 to 2023.

Before joining Electronic Merchant Systems, Rick worked at PwC where they held various roles over a period of 13 years. Rick started as a Risk Assurance Associate in 2008 and gradually progressed to roles such as Risk Assurance Senior Associate, Financial Audit Senior Associate, Manager, and finally Senior Manager.

During their time at PwC, Rick was responsible for conducting financial statement audits for private companies with various revenue levels and managing multiple teams to meet project deadlines. Rick also gained experience in testing information technology controls and conducting controls audits for financial services clients.

Rick Campbell attended John Carroll University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Accounting and Finance. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained additional certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in December 2010 and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Accountancy Board of Ohio in January 2010.
