David Farrell is an experienced leader in the energy sector with a focus on renewable and distributed generation. Currently serving as the Head of Onshore Asset Development for ESB Generation and Trading, David has been with the company since March 2015, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes 26 wind farms, hydro schemes, and other renewable energy projects. Previous roles include Director at Galloper Wind Farm and Manager of Renewables O&M, where responsibilities involved managing wind farms and developing operational capabilities for substantial energy projects. David's background also includes positions in hydro management and corporate strategy at ESB, and serving as General Manager for Synergen, an independent power producer.
