Ryan Bessey is a Design Engineer at Electrical Consultants Inc. since January 2013, specializing in structural engineering for transmission line design within the North American power grid. Prior to this role, Ryan served as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, focusing on ETFE membrane technology for skyscraper design. Earlier experience includes work as a Design Engineer at Novatek Inc., where Ryan developed structural systems for green building components, and as a Framer at A Plus Renovations, contributing to various residential construction projects. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Structural Engineering from Brigham Young University, obtained in 2012.
