Nalini Rao is a distinguished Principal Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), leading innovative research programs focused on Data Integration for Climate-Smart Cities, Water Availability, and Climate Impact Modeling since December 2014. Previously, Nalini held the role of Environmental/Climate Change Economist at ICF International, where quantitative and qualitative analyses of environmental policies were conducted. Prior experience includes serving as an Economist and Water Resources Advisor at Conservation International, emphasizing climate change adaptation and ecosystem service analysis. Nalini holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from Cornell University, an M.E.Sc. in Environmental Science from Yale University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
