Hatice Akkurt is a seasoned professional in the field of nuclear engineering with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Technical Executive at EPRI since June 2013, Hatice previously held positions as R&D Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Senior Nuclear Engineer at Schlumberger Princeton Technology Center. Earlier career milestones include research assistant roles at the University of Michigan and University of Texas at Austin. Hatice Akkurt obtained a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Hacettepe University.
