ByungSik Yoon is a highly experienced professional in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) for the nuclear power industry. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since August 2016, ByungSik Yoon focuses on NDE technology development. Prior to this role, ByungSik Yoon was a Principal Researcher at KHNP-CRI from June 2012 to April 2016, concentrating on enhancing the reliability and safety of Korean nuclear power plants through advanced ultrasonic technology. ByungSik Yoon began their career at KEPCO-KEPRI as a Senior Researcher, where similar NDT techniques were developed from February 1996 to June 2012. Academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Chungnam National University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyungpook National University.
