Jim Shomilak has a diverse work experience in various sales and technical roles within the lighting industry. Jim started their career at Graybar as a Lighting Project Specialist from 2000 to 2003. Jim then moved on to work as a Lighting Designer at Robert Newell Lighting Design in 2003 and transitioned to Brazill Brothers & Associates as a Sales Representative from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Leviton as a Technical Sales Specialist until 2012. Following that, they worked at Thea Enterprises as a Sales Representative from 2012 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at Electric Lighting Agencies as a Sales Representative, starting in October 2022.

Jim Shomilak attended Montclair State University from 1996 to 2000.
