Maurice Barnes possesses extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various organizations. Currently, Maurice serves as a Selected Commissioner at the Electoral Office of Jamaica and as Chief Executive Officer of VM Innovations Ltd., a subsidiary of the Victoria Mutual Group. Additionally, Maurice holds the position of Deputy Board Chairman at the Universal Service Fund, Jamaica. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer at eGov Jamaica Limited, and Director at JMMB Money Transfer, along with a tenure as Project Portfolio Manager at eGov Jamaica Limited. Maurice's educational background includes a PostGraduate Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking from Emeritus and multiple certificates in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management, complemented by a Master of Science in Information Technology from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electronics from The University of the West Indies, Mona.
