Leesa Gilman worked in long-term care for over 12 years and found his passion within Assisted Living when he started as a Housing Director eight years ago. His Bachelor's degree in both Marketing and Nursing has helped them to successfully navigate his current position as the Vice President of Assisted Living Communities at Monarch Healthcare Management. He has the opportunity to oversee both the nursing department and operations of the 14 assisted living buildings within the state of Minnesota. His favorite part of his job is meeting the residents, engaging with the staff, and teaching the communities about the importance of Assisted Living and the care they can provide. His mantra has always been “No AL left behind” and in a long-term care world that is focused on skilled nursing, he ensures that each of the assisted living facilities has a voice.
