Alex Morel is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at Elastic, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Alex held the role of Associate General Counsel at Meta from August 2022 to September 2023, focusing on commercial agreements. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Legal Counsel at Vodafone Business, where Alex provided expert legal advice on IoT-related commercial and contractual matters from January 2016 to August 2022. Earlier, Alex worked as Corporate Counsel at NTT America, drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements from October 2010 to January 2016, and gained experience as an intern at the NCAA Compliance Office at the University of Rhode Island between April 2009 and September 2010. Alex holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Roger Williams University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
