Liza Mahdavi-Bernstein has extensive experience in social services and program management, most notably serving at El Nido Family Centers since October 2007 in various roles including Program Director, Program Manager, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and Program Assistant. Prior to this, Liza Mahdavi-Bernstein worked as a Case Manager at El Nido Family Centers from January 1998 to February 2004, and gained valuable experience as a Child Care Worker at Children of the Night from August 1996 to December 1997. Additional experience includes serving as a Residential Counselor at St. Anne's Maternity Home and as a Counselor/Child Care Worker at The Linden Center from May 1996 to December 1997. Liza Mahdavi-Bernstein began their career as a Grant Writing Intern at Rainforest Action Network from June 1993 to July 1994. Liza Mahdavi-Bernstein earned a BA in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, where studies were completed from 1988 to 1993, with additional coursework at Humboldt State University in early 1990.
