Nicolás Carbonare is an experienced Energy Model Developer and Team Lead at Ekotrope, specializing in model development for energy-efficient buildings, building physics, and HVAC systems since November 2022. Previously, Nicolás served as a Scientific Researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, contributing to the building physics group and leading Team RoofKIT to a first prize victory at the Solar Decathlon Europe 2021/22. Nicolás also held positions as a Visiting Researcher at Loughborough University and a Scientific Researcher at Fraunhofer ISE, where research focused on building simulation and occupant behavior.
