Clémence Contensou is a seasoned professional in extractive industries governance and international relations. Currently serving as a Francophone Africa Advisor at the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative since September 2021, Clémence's previous roles include Extractives Governance Policy Officer at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and a desk officer handling bilateral relations with Albania and Macedonia. Clémence gained experience through multiple internships, including advocacy for conflict minerals at CCFD-Terre Solidaire and various positions within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, contributing to Franco-German relations and EU military representation. Clémence holds a Master's degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in French and German law from CY Cergy Paris Université.
