Yerai Diaz Ikaran is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in news reporting and correspondence. Currently serving as the Correspondent for the United States at EITB since November 2022, Yerai covers news for both television and radio from New York. Previous roles include news presenter and editor for Gaur Egun and Teleberri at EITB from June 2015 to September 2022, and correspondent in Madrid for ETB from March 2016 to August 2018. Early career highlights include communication assistant at the United Nations Development Programme and various editorial positions at Sexta Noticias and EITB. Yerai holds dual degrees in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México.
