Iratxe Fresneda Delgado is a profesora e investigadora at the University of the Basque Country since January 2002, specializing in documentary scriptwriting and the study of gender, image, and identity, along with teaching in the Master's program in Feminist and Gender Studies at UPV/EHU. Iratxe also serves as a cine director for UPV/EHU and Pimpi & Nella Kolektiboa, focusing on personal cinematic journeys. Additionally, Iratxe is a cine programmer for Azkuna Zentroa, showcasing diverse audiovisual narratives in the BIdeOtik series, and has been involved in film curation for Loraldia and ETB1. Previous experience includes working as an editor, broadcaster, and scriptwriter for cultural programs at EITB from 1996 to 2002. Iratxe holds degrees in Social Sciences and Information and holds a doctorate in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad del País Vasco.
