Bruno Amaral de Carvalho is a seasoned journalist with extensive freelance experience across various media outlets, including CNN Portugal and EITB since April 2022. With a strong focus on significant global events, Bruno has reported on the peace process in Colombia and covered the conflict in the Donbass since 2018. Additionally, contributions to Nòs Diário and Gara highlight coverage of the war in Ukraine. Previous roles include a position as a journalist at Contacto - Mediahuis Luxembourg and A Voz do Operário, as well as a communication manager for the Confederação Nacional das Organizações de Pessoas com Deficiência. Bruno also has a background in organizing cultural events and production, evidenced by work at the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual and earlier experiences as a fixer for Mega TV. Bruno holds a degree from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, completed in 2009.
